You will receive two large geodes. One Mexican trancas geode and one Moroccan quartz geode. < br> The Mexican Trancas geodes around 3-3.5" < br> The Moroccan quartz geodes will be around 4" < br> Any hammer will work. Some people like to use a wet saw for the Mexican trancas geodes. < br> Mexican Trancas geodes contain clear or druzy quartz linings and may have calcite, fluorite, and quartz scepters as well. They tend to be more semi hollow and a little harder to open than the Moroccan geode. But hey do give you a good chance of different types of crystallization and colors. The fun is in the surprise of what you will find waiting inside! < br> Moroccan quartz geodes are a great pick as a gift or a classroom project. They are very economically priced and very pretty after being cracked open. Moroccan geodes produce a great looking geode when cracked open. Opening them is easy. They are more hollow than other geodes and therefor break open easier. They also tend to produce more crystals. Over 99% of our Moroccan geodes have awesome crystals waiting to be discovered. Just grab a sock and a hammer and crack open a geode. Easy as that! My kids love these! They make for a fun hands on project that can involve the whole family. < br> Warning: Chocking Hazard.
