"Vowel Teams and Their Friends" focuses on vowel patterns typically taught between grade 1 and grade 3 and are perfect for kids who are already writing three-to-four letter words. It includes long vowels (like the "ai" in "rain"), diphthongs (like the "oi" in "coin"), and short vowels (like the "ea" in "heavy"). Each card is like a little puzzle. On one side, there's a word with the vowels missing, and kids can fill them in. On the other side, they can write the whole word themselves. The set includes 189 wipeable cards - which means endless practice! This includes 24 introduction cards to teach different spelling patterns, 160 practice cards for kids to write on, and 5 instruction cards for grown-ups.
