Light is visually engaging and fun topic for kids and adults, but it can be abstract and difficult to teach also, so we ve created dozens of labs, experiments, lessons and activities for mixing primary colors of light, reflection, and refraction. Intended for Grades 2-8, (middle school students), these versatile light sources let you explore all of the fundamental concepts of light and optics for this age group. Unlike most other light sources, these can project both narrow rays (for reflection/refraction) AND uniform monochromatic (single-color) light to teach additive color mixing.
