Frozen Shinies: The Emperor Penguin’s Nephew is a clever little card game about the Emperor Penguin’s dim royal nephew, who just wants to collect as many things as he can, no matter what they’re worth. Quick to set up and easy to learn, this fast, fun game will have you laughing gleefully at the triumph of trading a diamond for a pointy stick, a fancy shell, and a carved penguin toy. Three things are way better than one crummy old thing!

Features:

• MEET THE EMPEROR PENGUIN’S NEPHEW. The Emperor Penguin loves jewelry, but his nephew can’t for the life of him figure how why you’d want one crummy sapphire if you can have a pointy stick AND a fuzzy hat. Having two things is obviously WAY BETTER than only having one thing!
• A FAST & FUNNY LITTLE TRADING GAME. You’re a penguin helper rushing from place to place in the penguin market, always trying to trade for more and more objects to satisfy the Emperor Penguin’s nephew. Trade pointy sticks, shiny rocks, magnificent feathers, fancy shells, spools of thread, antique coins, pretty beads, carved penguin toys, fuzzy hats, and kintsugi goblets… not to mention rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds!
• QUICK & EASY TO LEARN. Set up in no time. Easy to learn in just a minute or two. But since each card can be played two ways and there are always several options on the table, there’s plenty of strategy to keep everyone involved and having a blast.
• SUPER-PORTABLE. A quick-to-learn, fast-paced, 15-minute game to play with anyone, anywhere, any time, on any table. Carry it in your pocket, purse, backpack, bag, car, or camper so there’s always something fun to play. Fantastic for restaurants, taprooms, campsites, porches, patios, game conventions, or anywhere else with a flat surface.
