The back story: In the vibrant vegetable kingdom, the royals of the Onion, Broccoli, Carrot, and Mushroom suites gathered for their customary card game of war. Little did they know, six mischievous fruits - Wacky Watermelon, Laughin’ Lemon, Silly Strawberry, Chillin’ Cherries, Bodacious Banana, and Groovy Green Apple had infiltrated the deck, empowering the most feeble veggi-cards with extraordinary powers. The fruits, reveling in their clandestine influence, watched as the Fruit War ensued! The once-predictable game of war transformed into a fruity spectacle, where every card held the potential to turn the tide. Then, just as the royal vegetables were grappling with the reality of the fruit-infused war, a new player entered the scene - the Tomato. Tomatoes, often debated whether they were fruits or vegetables, brought a unique twist to the game and the Fruit War took an unforseen turn as the power of the Tomato influenced the outcome of battles. In the end, the fruits celebrated their playful meddling, the decks were reshuffled, and the memory of the Fruit War lingered. • Your Goal... to win all cards by round six. You will do this by playing the highest card but when a tie occurs a battle will happen to decide the victor and knowing when to play that tomato card can make the difference in losing the battle but winning the war! The battles can get intense and use a lot cards, it is possible that someone could get all the cards before round six, if this happens they are the winner and the game is over!
• What is Fruit War...is the classic game of war but with revised rules to make the game play faster and the battles much bigger! There are twelve unique fruit and vegetable character designs, that make the game visually appealing and more fun. All the excitement happens when the fruit characters battle hence the name Fruit War.
• High Card Wins…remember this rule and you are sure to have a blast with friends and family. You keeping flipping cards until there is a clear high card winner. The fruit characters are wild and more and more of them come into play as the game progresses…so the battles become larger and larger.
• The Tomato Card…large battle with all your cards on the line this could be it for you? That is where the tomato card comes into play. Think of it as the ace up your sleeve, this will allow you to draw that one extra card or take that last roll of the dice that can make the difference from utter defeat to the sweet victory!
• 2-4 Players…but wait there’s more. If you happen to have a larger group and everyone wants to play just add another Fruit War deck and you are good to go!
